The Academic Section undertakes building cooperation and partnerships with educational institutions, administrative and academic supervision of the scholarship students and provide them with the best services to facilitate the progress of their study journey from the beginning of their scholarship until graduation or completion of their studies. This is done through coordination with the Financial and Administrative Section to ensure high level and efficiency in the attaché’s work procedures.

Educational relationships:

• Strengthening cooperation with educational and science and technology institutions and researching best practices in the field of scientific and technological research.

• Implementing the policies of the Ministry of Education and the scholarship providers with regard to students’ admission and criteria for their distribution in the fields of specialization in line with the needs of society and the Labor market.

• Providing training opportunities for students on scholarships in educational institutions, companies and specialized bodies, and continuous building of skills.

• Preparing studies, reports and research on education and analysing data.

Academic follow-up:

• Academic follow-up of scholarship students based on study reports and taking appropriate measures based on them.

• Providing advice and academic guidance on scholarships regarding academic affairs and responding to their inquiries.

• Studying the academic applications submitted by the scholarship students and submitting them to the scholarship authorities for decision-making.

• Studying the difficulties and problems that face the progress of students on scholarships and working to overcome and solve them.

• Communicate with educational institutions to help solve students' problems and follow up on their academic progress.

Scholarship students’ services:

• Providing academic admission for students on scholarships in the specialties specified for scholarship.

• Providing updates on academic admission requirements in educational institutions according to the specializations specified for scholarships.

• Opening a file for scholarship students, updating their data, following up on their access to financial allocations, and closing the file upon graduation or completion of studies.

• Helping new scholarship students and overcoming the difficulties they face regarding study and housing.

• Organizing and sponsoring the social, cultural, scientific and sports activities of the scholarship students and respecting cultures to consolidate the global reputation of the UAE.

• Encouraging scholarship students to participate in various activities, organizing the celebration of holidays in universities, inviting their professors and colleagues, and consolidating human brotherhood and respect for national identity, in order to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and connection between Emirati students and their colleagues.

• Follow up on students' presence upon arrival and departure, and update students' data upon graduation and completion of studies.

Certificate Attestation:

• Attestation of educational certificates issued by higher education institutions in the country of study.

• Verification of academic qualifications and academic programs to respond to inquiries from the Certificate Equivalency Department.
