In line with the keenness of the UAE cultural mission to expand the horizons of cooperation with Australian universities and in order to provide the best educational services for UAE students studying in Australia, the UAE Cultural Attaché in Australia, HE Rawda Al Mansouri, accompanied by a delegation from the UAE Cultural Mission, visited the University of Adelaide on Monday 22nd October 2018. She met with Professor Nancy Cromar, Pro Vice Chancellor (International), Mr Ian Harris, Executive Director, and a number of University representatives. The meeting involved a discussion of the means to further develop the cooperation between the university and the UAE cultural mission and to provide extra support to UAE students. The discussion also covered the foundation program at the University and the best options for success, along with a follow-up of UAE students at the university.
A meeting with the UAE students at the University was held on the previous day, Sunday 21st October 2018, to listen to the students concerns and notes before meeting with the university officials.
In conclusion, Mrs Rawdah Al Mansouri expressed her appreication to the University of Adelaide for hosting the meeting with the UAE Cultural Mission and presented a symbolic shield to the University. Commemorative photos were taken.
